The Blue Demon BD-7000 is a high-performance hardfacing electrode engineered to deposit a tough, high-speed tool steel alloy using manual metal arc welding (SMAW). This rod delivers exceptional resistance to metal-to-metal wear and maintains its hardness in temperatures up to 600°C (1112°F). When tempered, it can reach a hardness of approximately 65 HRC, making it ideal for tools, dies, and surfaces that demand long-lasting edge retention and cold wear durability.
