Lincoln Electric's SuperGlaze® 4043 is a premium aluminum MIG welding wire (ER4043) designed for welding heat-treatable base alloys, particularly the 6XXX series. This soft alloy offers superior crack resistance and high penetration, making it suitable for various applications, including certain brazing tasks and welding high-silicon castings like A356. It's important to note that welding 5XXX base materials with 4043 filler metals should be avoided.
