ER310 TIG Welding Rod – High-Temperature Stainless Steel for Dissimilar and Austenitic Welds
ER310 is a high-alloy stainless steel TIG welding rod formulated for joining wrought and cast forms of 310 stainless steel, as well as other high-temperature alloys. With a high chromium (25–28%) and nickel (20–22.5%) content, this filler metal provides excellent oxidation resistance and weld stability under extreme heat conditions. Its fully austenitic weld deposit is ideal for structural or pressure-related stainless applications that demand strength, corrosion resistance, and heat tolerance.
In addition to welding similar metals, ER310 is also a reliable option for dissimilar stainless-to-carbon or stainless-to-low-alloy steel joints. It requires low heat input during welding, helping reduce warping and preserving base metal integrity in complex or thin-walled assemblies.
