Product Description
Weldmark® 2% Ceriated Tungsten TIG Welding Electrodes – Ground Finish, Gray Tip
Precision Arc Control for Low-Amperage DC TIG Welding
Weldmark® 2% Ceriated (Gray Tip) Tungsten Electrodes are specially engineered for low-amp DC TIG welding where arc precision and short welding cycles are critical. Containing 2% cerium oxide (CeO₂), these electrodes excel in orbital welding, thin-wall tubing, and fine-detail TIG applications—especially on stainless steel and nickel alloys.
The ground finish ensures clean arc initiation, while the gray tip offers quick visual identification. Though ideal for low-current work, ceriated tungsten is not recommended for high-amperage or long-cycle welding, as its oxides tend to migrate quickly toward the heat-affected tip.
