The Weldmark by Esab® WEM 03533 is a high-quality carbon steel solid MIG welding wire, classified as ER70S-6 and copper-coated for enhanced performance. With a diameter of 0.035 inches (0.9mm), this wire is precision layer wound and supplied on a 33-pound spool. It contains elevated levels of manganese and silicon deoxidizers, which improve weld puddle fluidity, allowing for superior welds even on surfaces that are dirty, oily, or rusty. The increased silicon content also contributes to a smoother bead appearance, reducing the need for post-weld grinding. Engineered to deliver porosity-free, X-ray quality welds, the WEM 03533 achieves the highest tensile strength in its class. It is compatible with shielding gases such as 100% carbon dioxide, a 98% argon and 2% oxygen blend, or other argon and carbon dioxide mixtures. This wire is suitable for various applications, including HVAC duct work, heavy equipment fabrication, structural projects, and general steel fabrication.
